Privacy and saved gadgets
How this version of NEXTDROP handles your information.
Saved list
The Save buttons store product identifiers in your browser’s local storage under nextdrop-saved-v1. This list stays in that browser; the site has no account-based synchronization. Remove each saved item to clear the list. Clearing this site’s browser data also removes it.
Information entered on the page
Gadget searches filter the page locally. This version contains no newsletter signup, contact form, payment form. It does not ask you to submit an address, password or payment details.
Hosting and external destinations
The hosting platform may process connection and technical information to deliver and secure the site under its own terms. Links to manufacturers and Amazon open external websites with their own privacy practices. Amazon affiliate links include our store tracking ID; Amazon may use cookies or other tracking under its own policies. Your saved list is not attached to those links.
Customer profiles and sign-in
Sign-in is handled by ChatGPT. NEXTDROP receives a site-specific account identifier, your account email and, when available, your name. We do not receive your password. Your chosen display name and shopping country are stored with your account identifier so you can use your profile on other devices. Your profile is private, not a public customer directory. Your account email is displayed from your sign-in information rather than copied into the profile database.
You can edit your profile or delete its saved details from the profile page. Deleting these details does not delete your ChatGPT account. Saved gadget lists still stay in the browser where you saved them.
Store analytics
We count page views and clicks on product buying links to understand which gadgets interest shoppers. We store daily totals by public page or product, broad traffic source (such as Facebook or search), and device type. We do not store analytics cookies, visitor identifiers, IP addresses, full referring URLs, search terms, or account details in these totals. Page reloads count again; these are not unique visitor counts. Signed-in owner activity, common bots, and browsers requesting Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are excluded. Browser blocking can cause undercounting.
The dashboard is restricted to the store owner. Analytics does not reveal purchases or commissions on external stores. Last updated 23 September 2026.
